1.Prof. C.S.K.Mishra, Head, Department of Zoology and Nodal Officer, Environmental sustainability,IDP-NAHEP,OUAT organized as co-convener  one day workshop on “Institutional waste management” on  13th March,2020 in Biju Pattnaik Conference Hall. 80 participants attended the workshop. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr P.K.Agrawal inaugurated the workshop. Resource persons from Odisha Pollution Control Board and Sambalpur University delivered talks. Prof.R.C.Dash,Principal Investigator,IDP-NAHEP also addressed the participants.

2. Prof. C.S.K.Mishra, Head, Department of Zoology and Nodal Officer, Environmental sustainability,IDP-NAHEP,OUAT organized as co-convener  one day National Webinar  “Awareness on NABL Accreditation of Laboratories and Workplace safety” on 16th August, 2020. A total of 97 participants from all over the country participated. The webinar was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr P.K.Agrawal.Resource persons from Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi delivered talks. Prof.R.C.Dash,Principal Investigator,IDP-NAHEP and Ms Indira Prakash, National Consultant,Environmental sustainability,ICAR also addressed the participants.

3.The Department of Chemistry organized an International Webinar on “ Functionalized Materials: A Chemist’s Perspective-2020 (FMACP-2020)  on 16th and 17th October 2020 .The webinar was inaugurated by the Director,  Prof. Bikash Panda.Scientists from India and abroad delivered talks. The webinar was attended by more than 100 participants from India and outside.
